  • Due to COVID, Ontariogreen is now providing our free, engaging, environmental science, programs that are based on the curricula for Science, Social Studies and Geography for students from Kindergarten to Grade 8, through online platforms like Google Meets. Our presentations are tailored to provide current, specific information for each area of the province and community we serve.
  • Host environmental education events for communities.
  • Supply an engaging speaker for your club or group.
  • Organize community plantings of native trees and shrubs.
  • Lead guided educational tours of local natural areas — including a special focus on helping newcomers get to know their communities better.

A very big thank you to the Fleming Foundation for their partnership in creating the Val Fleming Butterfly Garden in Beamsville and for their 2022 donation to further Ontariogreen's mission. Thanks to Branthaven for their significant 2022 donation that will support environmental restoration projects in Grimsby. Thanks to the Weisz Family Foundation for their support over the previous six years.

Thanks to TD Friends of the Environment, Val Fleming and Walker Aggregates for providing us with grants to support our Community Native Tree Planting Program in the Town of Lincoln that helped us plant 210 native trees and shrubs in Beamsville and Vineland parks in 2018 and 2019.

Ontariogreen would also like to thank the Oakville Environmental Fund and the South Peel Naturalists for providing grant to support Newcomer Urban Forest Tours and programs on urban wildlife from 2017 to 2020. Thanks also to the individual donors who make our work possible.
